Craig takes experienced fly fisherman and hunters into wilderness areas. Most trips are a full day, however, overnight trips can be arranged.
Craig has been living and working in this area for over three decades and knows many special places. He can take you (and one other) into remote places where the fish (Rainbow and Brown Trout) or animals run (Boar, Deer, Goats and Chamois).
The Chamois were introduced to New Zealand in 1907 as a gift of Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph. Hunting Chamois is particularly prized.
Hunters, with gun licences, can bring their own firearms, or you can be supervised by Craig to hunt and shoot.
Similarly, fly fisherman should bring their own gear or Craig can supply, with notice.
The cost of a typical day trip, starting at the end of Lake Rotoroa, is included under our fees and terms tab.
